The date and time may be reset if you leave the battery out of
the camera for long periods of time. If this happens, set the
current date and time.
1 Slide the battery cover in
the direction of 1.

Insert the battery until it
locks into place with the

mark facing toward the lens.
To remove the battery, push the
battery lock lever in the direction
of 3.
3 Close the battery cover,
and slide it in the direction
of 5.

The battery level may not be displayed properly if the camera
is used at low temperatures or when performing continuous
shooting for a long time.
Battery performance temporarily decreases as the
temperature decreases. When using the camera in cold
climates, have extra batteries at hand and keep them warm in
your pocket. Battery performance will return to normal when
returned to room temperature.
Have extra batteries ready when traveling overseas, or taking
a lot of pictures.
We recommend the use of the AC adapter kit K-AC115
(optional) when using the monitor for a long time or when
connecting the camera to a computer or AV device.
1 Make sure that the camera is turned off, and
open the battery cover.
Remove the battery if it is inserted in the camera.
2 Pull down the connection
cable cover (1) on the
bottom side of the battery
chamber, and insert the
DC coupler into the battery
chamber.
To remove the DC coupler, push
the battery lock lever in the direction of 2.
