Shooting Settings
Adjusts the Shake Reduction unit in the X-Y direction or rotation direction
for a better composition position and a more level camera. Use this when
you want to adjust the composition, such as when using a tripod.

Select [Composition Adjust.] in the [A Rec. Mode 2] menu
and press the four-way controller (5).
The [Composition Adjust.] screen appears.

Select [Start Adjustment] and
press the 4 button.
To start adjusting the composition from
the previous position, use the four-way
controller (23) to select [Recall
Previous Position] and use the four-way
controller (45) to switch to O.
Live View is displayed and the
composition can be adjusted.

Adjust the composition.
The amount of compensation (the
number of steps) is displayed at the top
right of the screen.
Available operations
Adjusting the Composition
Four-way controller
(2345)
Moves the composition up, down, left or right.
Adjust up to 24 steps (approximately ±1.5 mm) on
the image sensor.
Rear e-dial (S) Adjusts the level of the composition when the
amount of adjustment is less than 16 steps (±1.0
mm) up or down, or to the left or right. Up to 8
steps (approximately ±1°) can be adjusted.
| button Resets the adjustment value.
