is the depth of field, i.e. the range in which
subject parts are rendered sharply.
• This range changes based on the distance
to the focused subject, the set focal length,
etc.

When you record motion pictures, the camera performs aperture control within the
appropriate exposure range, and the depth of field may not change due to the subject
brightness.
