The camera automatically sets both shutter speed and aperture value according to the
brightness of the subject.
You can change various settings in the [Rec] menu.

Aperture and shutter speed are shown in red, if an
appropriate exposure is not possible. You should
either use the flash, change [Sensitivity] settings or
set [Min. Shtr Speed] to a slower speed.

Program Shift
In Program Mode, you can change the preset aperture value and shutter speed without
changing the exposure. This is called Program Shift.
You can make the back- and foreground more blurred by decreasing the aperture value
or record a moving subject more dynamically by slowing the shutter speed.
