Take the picture
Press the shutter button fully to release the
shutter after the preset time.
• To cancel while in operation
→ Press [MENU/SET]

Select [ ] ([Single]) in step .
Focusing will be automatically performed immediately before the exposure if the
shutter button is pressed fully.
After the self-timer indicator stops flashing, it may then remain lit due to its function as
AF Assist Lamp.
You cannot use the self-timer for motion picture recording or interval recording.
You cannot select the [ ] setting under the following conditions.
• [Snapshot Mode]
• When [WB Bracket] is set
• When [Aspect Bracket] is set
• Scene Modes ([Panorama Shot] [3D Photo Mode])
