Using the [Playback] menu

[Cropping]
This mode allows you to crop your still pictures, e.g. to improve the composition or to
delete undesired parts of the subject.
Use cursor buttons to select the picture and then press
[MENU/SET]
Use the zoom lever to enlarge the section of the picture to be
cropped and then press [MENU/SET]
Expand Change position
• A confirmation screen is displayed. If you select [Yes],
the operation is executed.
The resolution is reduced after cropping.
The following type of pictures cannot be cropped.
• Motion pictures
• 3D still pictures
• Still pictures recorded in [Panorama Shot] Scene Mode
• Still pictures recorded with the [Quality] setting [ ], [ ] or [ ]
• Still pictures that had already been stamped with the date or other texts
Original Face Recognition information will not be copied when still pictures are
cropped.
